I use Clobetasol topical ointment and it works great! I wished it came in a spray bottle though, ould be so much easier to apply!

well growing up i always had great skin, not even acne through high school. maybe a couple of pimples every once and a while. My younger sister got it before i did and then one day when i was about 15 i felt a little spot that kind of itched in my scalp. I started going to a dermatologist and they at first told me it was fungal and if i touched it and touched my skin somewhere else it would grow there too. then a diferent doctor finally told me it was psoriasis. They gave me a lot of diferent topical meds and nothing really worked that great. They started giving me steroid injections, thats when it really flared up on my whole body. i turned 19 and lost my medicaid and my future mother in law got me an appointment at a free clinic and they told me that the shots they were giving me at my old doctor were for intestin inflamation and that it only made my skin worse. since then they gave me batamethazone and told me they would only let me stay on it for 2 weeks. it was clearing up really good then they took me off and put me back on triamcimalone and it flared up again.
i'm getting married in may of 2011 and i would really like it to be as clear as it can be by then and i'm realy tired of dealing with this.
Since i've been diagnosed with Psoriasis i have also been diagnosed as depressed and my doctors believe it has a lot to do with the psoriasis.

Any help or words of advice that anyone has for me i would greatly appreciate it

Depression and P so go hand in hand!
I had been on steroids before for my back, and at first it cleared my skin, but once I stopped taking it, the P came back worse then before!! I can no longer take oral steroids due to an alergic reaction. But I'm not too bummed cuz those things are nasty!!
Clobetasol has been a life save for me with the P. It works awesome!
