First off, thanks to all of you for your support on my other post "Depressed/Scared". One of the things I'm learning about this disease is that it really has no rhyme or reason and that sometimes flare ups just happen. It's frustrating, but I know I have to calm down and breathe through it like some of you advised.

I went to my opthomalogist today because I was having some visual symptoms and wanted to see if my paps are returning. Good news is that he said my eyes look great! No swelling, no bleeding. All's well on that front. He explained that with rises in pressure (like I know I've been experiencing this week), I can have visual symptoms. But, that doesn't necessarily mean that there is swelling. These things can come and go. Phew!

I go to see my neuro next Friday, so we'll see what happens. I'm feeling better today actually and my flare up did coincide with both my period and a change in weather here. (Cold and rainy). So, maybe my pressure is related to that. We'll see what the doctor says next week. Maybe since my vision is not in immediate jeopardy and I am not having painful headaches we'll just stay the course and see what happens. Either way, I will remain strong, be honest with him and be open to his suggestions. And then I'll come here and cry to all of you if I need to :)
