Hi Everyone,
Its been awhile since I last posted.A lot has been going on the last few months. My youngest son got married, a few weeks later we had a big reception at our house. Than a few weeks after that my little niece came into the world. The next day, I was blessed with a new little granddaughter. That same day, I received a call that my older brother was in a coma. In between all that I have been dealing with doctors, trying to get them to agree to go in and trim the shunt tubing which is causing so much pain every few days.
Today all is good..both babies are doing well, my brother is out of the coma, hospital and is home recovering.
My surgeon agreed to trim and replace my tubing in my stomach while he looks for the cause of my pain. He is still not convinced that the tubing is causing my pain.Thats fine with me, once he takes a look and fix's the tubing, he will agree that I was right !

I am looking forward to my mother in law coming over to help me start on my first hand made quilt..

Some days its hard. And beautiful babies! what is not to be joyful about with new life.
I do hope that shortening the catheter will help clear up your problems. And I do believe that the patient knows best! good luck. Cath.
