almost crashed twice today even though i looked both ways so i'm guessing my blind spot is either getting bigger or worst hopefully its neither and i was just having a bad day

do you feel as if your visual fields are worse than they have been?

if you think your blind spot might be getting bigger, or you're losing your peripheral vision, it might be time to pay your NO a visit for a visual field test.

good luck and BE CAREFUL driving! can you rely on someone to drive you around until you've had your eyes checked out?

Ditto. An accident would be a terrible thing, both for you and the person you hit. I don't want you to get hurt. Rides from family and friends help, so does public transportation. Or new habits of turning your head. Hard to do when driving, especially when looking in back before moving over a lane. Stay safe, okay?

Wow thanks ladies for the responses
I actually went over this with my roommate today
And she said she was totally down to drive me around
Till the 28th that's when my eye appointment is
I don't really want to have her do that but I can't afford to
Get in an accident

I have papilledema in both eyes but its worse in my left eye and
thats the eye thats been giving me trouble when I turn right it happen twice today twice it madness I tell you lol

any chance your NO can see you before the 28th? If your eyes are getting worse, thats not something you'd want to wait 13 days to find out... i'd push for a sooner appointment!

glad your roomie is willin & able to help you out with rides until your appointment. it sucks having to depend on other people to get you around, but.. it's a lot safer; for you AND the other people on the road. :)

getting into an accident is the LAST thing you need to deal with, while dealing with this stupid PTC.

Definitely push for a sooner appt.

Also, let your roommate help you out! So often people want to help us out, but they cant really- can't take away our pain, fix us, etc. Let her help in her own way :)

Also, this is the REASON i went to an eye dr! Backed my car into a light pole at the end of my driveway that I see every day, hit my own garbage cans, had to turn a lot wider, almost got in an accident shifting into another lane. My peripheral vision was GONE in both eyes-- thank god it came back!
