The ringing is back...

I had an LP last Tuesday night. I had noticed Saturday that if I laid on my left side there was no ringing, but if I laid on my back or right side I had the ringing. Today, it doesn't matter if I'm sitting, standing, laying, it's back all the time. Has anyone else noticed "position based" ringing in their ears after an LP?

I'm happy you got some relief, though I wish it lasted longer.

The ringing in my ears isn't positional, the heartbeat in my ears is. I hear it when I lay down. The difference I notice after an LP is that the ringing and heartbeat stops for a day or two, then comes back along with everything else.

I think I equate ringing and the heartbeat as the same because they come and go hand in hand it seems. You said yours is relieved for a day or two and then comes back with everything else - is there a "pattern" that it comes back? I'm asking because when the ringing an such started I noticed a slight headache, which has stuck around and just gotten worse, but yesterday I noticed there are extra eye distractions and today things are a little more blurry - it's like a slowly looming force easing back (or at least that's what it feels like to me).

Coming back was after an LP. In the past LPs have gotten rid of my symptoms for a day or two, then everything comes back.

same here, after my LP my heartbeat tinnitus went away for few days and felt great. After that the heartbeat noise gradually increased in volume and was fully back after a week.
I did get headaches after few days however i was told that was low pressure headaches after LP. And low pressure headaches occurs 1-2 days after your LP procedure. So as your tinnitus started coming back the low pressure headache started.

on another note, I notice my heartbeat tinnitus at its louds when my blood pressure is somewhat out of control, when blood pressure is good my heartbeat tinnitus is at its quietest..
