Had two cups of coffee earlier and now I can't sleep..I should know better than to drink coffee this late..So ..I thought..why not post....Today was a good day..
It was beatiful here in Sunny California so I decided to start on my veggie garden..with the help of my 4 year old grandson and his mommy. We planted some tomatoes, sweet peas, peppers and green onions..
Tomorrow Im shooting (photo's) my oldest son (33) soccer game. We will have lunch with him and his family and hopefully take a drive to see my daughter and her family.

So..what did you do today ?

I can't blame coffee for being up so late, just an addiction to my facebook. :P Today was an eh kind of day. A particularly bad headache was slowly creeping away and my back was/is on fire so I have been a complete bum all day. Slept in (ahh, this was heaven!), woke up, watched a movie with my mom, then spent the day with my boyfriend Joe. His sister just welcomed a new baby boy into the world a few hours ago, so that was some exciting news to end off the day!

Well, I spent most of the day sleeping off and on my brand new lazy boy recliner. It I like being wrapped in a cloud! I am still getting over a LP on Thursday, which confirmed my pressure was high and that I have to get a VP shunt. I havent freaked out about it yet, but I know it is coming. I think I am still in denial! My husband and I did take an exciting outing to Pets Mart!

Nice one faith!
I spent 24 hours, sitting next to my 11year old son, sponge bathing him, to bring down a temp of 104.5! Thought we would never break it.
Then, in between, trying to take care of an equally sick husband.
Thank God I got the flu shot !Or we could really have been in trouble.
Both, now recovering.As for me....so so tired!
But thank God for new days! Cath.

Ahhh the joy's of coffee!!! lol I love this post! Well so far today Ive made a pot of coffee and had a bowl of cheerio's lol. We had the "Pack" over last night (Meaning 4 teenagers for a sleepover...) So I got about 2 hours of sleep! lol Good stuff! Thankful to be mommy!

Emerson & Cath, I'm sending positive thoughts your way. Sorry things are rough right now.

I'm just waking up, so I'll talk about yesterday. I went over to my mom's for lunch. My cousin and his children were there too, and the kids played with my dog. My dog was in heaven - he loves kids.

I felt like I couldn't leave before my cousins did, because it just wouldn't be polite. They stayed for 4 hours. I was exhausted and fell asleep in a chair. Four hours was too much for me at this point

Then I went home and went to bed. I felt like I'd been hit by a truck. Everything hurt and my head felt like it was going to explode. Broke down and took pain meds.

This gets better, right?

Today I am going to stay home and rest.
