I've been battling a cold for the past few days. The usual - congestion, sinus pressure, etc. I've noticed a flare up in my PTC symptoms as well. Headaches, neck pain and a lot of ear fullness and whooshing. Could the pressure in my sinuses be in any way affecting my IH? Or is this just a coincidence?
The earache i thought I had the last week? Amm, no. Not an earache but the blood and its pressure fighting for space.My ear being the first casualty.

JT, my biggest problem until the sight started to get all screwy was my ears/ sinuses . I had "sinus" migraines for years and finally decided to get to the bottom of it . ENT then Neurologist , back to ENT , back to Neurologist, allergist ...everything negative . Then my eyes began to act up and the Opthal found the paps . I would have attacks of sinus spasms and everyone thought I was loopy ( well, not comppletely innocent of that !) The ENT had never heard of "spasms" . Thank goodness for Opthalmologists ! I just got over a bad cold and feel your pain . My head still feels stuffy. Hope you feel better soon !
asked me during my last visit if I noticed the sinus congestion getting worse during the time my pressure was up and I said yes I, had and he just nodded and said, ""classic symptom"
