Pseudotumor Cerebri Support Group
Pseudotumor cerebri (PTC) is a neurological disorder that is characterized by increased intracranial pressure, in the absence of a tumor or other diseases affecting the brain or its lining. Diagnosis requires brain scans and lumbar puncture. Characteristic symptoms are headache, transient visual obscurations or transient visual loss in one or both eyes usually lasting...
Anyway, here are some ideas to consider. Since your issues are worse when you stand up and walk, these actions raise your blood pressure a little bit and that's going to make the intercranial pressure response greater, too. The shaking hands can be the result of pressure on an intercranial nerve (as well as many other things). Here's a good resource with information that may provide some clues - http://www.merckmanuals.com/professional/neurologic_disorders/movement_and_cerebellar_disorders/tremor.html
Regarding the eyes, I can say that when my pressure was highest, my eyelids wouldn't close all the way over my eyeballs and I would swear that my eyeballs were pushing out from my socket. Sounds like this could be the case for you, too. This is when my PAPS were their worst, so you'll want to get a doc to check your nerves for pap severity to see if it's time for more medical action.
Hugs!
My suggestion is to raise these specific concerns with your doctor.
Thanks again,
