Do any of you notice a particular time of year when your symptoms are worse than others? It's very strange, but for some reason, the summer is when I have my flare-ups. I was diagnosed in June of 2010. Diamox brought me under control with very managed symptoms until July of 2011 when I relapsed and had to get an increase in Diamox and a spinal tap. All was well for the rest of the year. Here we are in June of 2012, and I am experiencing some visual symptoms which tell me that my paps are back, the pressure is back in my head and my ears are full again. Coincidence or do you think maybe it's environmental? Guess it's time to call the Optho and Neuro again. Crap!

I've always had a harder time in the summer (headaches worse and my vision is worse) - for me, I think it has to do with the heat and humidity, but especially the humidity. I don't know if this is based in science, but I look at it like this: When the air is very humid, it's harder for my body to get rid of excess fluid in general, throughout the body. As a result, more fluid is retained and that includes the head, causing more headaches and problems with vision. That includes after my original LP shunt in 1991 - I didn't have problems with the vision after shunting, but I did have my worst headaches during the summer when it's hot and humid.

My worst time is winter and spring. Where I live it usually rains all winter and into spring. High humidity and high barometric make me miserable! I did a headache diary daily for almost 6 months tracking the temp, humidity, and pressure. Temp didn't effect me much as long as both humidity and pressure were both low.

I'm glad to hear I am not alone. My symptoms have been terrible the past couple of weeks.

I am worse in the winter too. I have felt so good lately and felt AWFUL from December until May. I think it is effected by the weather and maybe some of our bodies respond to it differently.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
