I'm freaking out. I am currently on 1000mg of Diamox. I take 500mg in the morning and 500 at night. I took my regular dosage this morning about 8am. Then, a couple of minutes ago (4 hrs later) I took another one. It was totally a mistake. I was talking to my husband, went in the cabinent to get an ibuprofen and out of habit opened up and took another diamox. As soon as I took it I realized what I did and started freaking out. Of course I won't take my evening dosage, but do you think I have anything to worry about? They are time released and I took them 4 hours apart. This may not seem like a big deal to most of you, but I have a horrible phobia about taking medications. So, this gives me a lot of anxiety.
I understand your phobia of taking meds - I am really careful about what I put in my body and when I ask a dozen questions about the medication the doctors look at me funny. Its our bodies we have a right to know.
Also it really helps to get one of those pill cases with the days on them - I know their kinda lame looking but it does help... :) Especially if your taking a lot of meds.
