I was one of these people, until tragedy hit my world. Now I to understand, how irritating and at times hurtful these remarks can be.
If you can, try, to see the care and love behind these remarks.
Its the best you can do with it.
As I said in my first post to you, you have lost something precious. A dr told my sister, that she had lost her future, which made a lot of sense to me.
Take your time , don't let any one hurry you or try to silence you in your grief. It is real and very painful. But you do have love and support from us,inadequate as it may seem.At least you have a safe place to express your pain here, among your IIH family Cath
People want to help but they can't put themselves in your shoes, but their intensions are good so they just do what they can. They have no idea they are making you feel worse, not better.
I had a miscarriage and it sent me into a very deep sadness for months. Grief doesn't travel in a straight line. Take the time you need and be easy on yourself.
Something that helped me finally feel better was a ceremony. We went to the park, talked about our hopes and what we had lost, and let a balloon go. It helped somehow.
Hugs, wishes that your heart heals a bit more every day.
hang in there girl, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
