I know I have posted a few times today, sorry y'all, but I had to get this out...I am getting beyond upset now about my memory...I have been having issues for the past few days about remembering if I took my seizure medicine...not a specific dose, I take it three times a day, but sometimes I won't remember if I took my morning dose...then my night...then today, my afternoon dose. And I can't have the "if I take one extra dose it won't kill me" attitude every day!

This can become dangerous...if my level drops too low, I will have seizures. If it's too high, can be toxic...I. Am. Frustrated.

Had to vent! Sorry!

Heather honey.....please, while we have all experienced this issue with the memory we also realize its an issue. Take ur cute behind to walgreens and get a daily pill box, fill it with your meds, your too important to us for something bad to happen when they cost a few dollars. Its only temporary, and your worth it, i know how frustrating and scary the memory issues are, they will improve as this was one big complaint for me.

Oh! Mary, I did not even think of that and I have had them in the past! I will remind my mom to have me get one tomorrow...I won't remember on my own! Thank you for reminding me of that!

Heater, My daughter Eileen has 2 - one for am and one for pm, we fill once a week. She has a small one just for the 2 meds she takes during the day. It is hard to remember evyeyrthing you should be doing. Try to give yourself a break.

Mary is so right... I have three different ones. One for morning, one for afternoon and one for evening. My hubby helps me fill them on Sundays. Humbling, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do, hon!

I have had and used them in the past, but the medications weren't on a strict basis then. It was kind of just there! Now it is really important that I stick to a plan. The thought of even one more seizure scares the crap out of me! My shoulder comes out of place with them. It is so painful. :(

AGREE! When I first got sick my husband bought me one and also helped fill it on Sundays. Then you can at least count the pills in the little box and know if you've missed taking one. The memory issues are bad enough: every appointment or deadline, whether it's mine or the kids or hubs work schedule goes into my phone (hoping I remember to do it;) and is set with reminder alarms. But I really had a hard time remembering when I took my med last!
Get the pill box sweetie and join the rest of us numbskulls!

I got a pill box today. I will fill it up tonight and I can say, for sure, that I have not missed a dose today! :)
