Just scroll down the page to the listing for memory difficulties. According to the IH Research Foundation, memory difficulties are a common symptom that many people with IH experience.
I'm going to check it out now.
This topic is covered in the IHRF 2008 conference notes. At that time they were trying to figure out how to put a study together to correlate it to actual ICP. Not sure if they ever got it off the ground. Let us know what you find.
On another note, looks like you are in my backyard. We live part time in Long Beach:)

Sometimes, it is nice to have validation. I get sooooo frustrated when, I share my concern about this with someone and they start giving you other reasons why it could happen. I than start to feel I have to defend myself, and I hate that. When pressure is high, that's is when I notice forgetting what I was going to next. Its not just a few times that day, its with every next task. ugh!'
Have a great weekend..

Hey TJ, What part LB do you live ?
And, like you said yourself, it seems to be worse when my pressure is on the increase.
My family and friends have got used to it but my daughter, who has been away before I got sick, was home on 5 weeks holidays and thought I was just winding her up! She was getting so mad at me until her dad explained, that this is what it is.
On a plus side; I can watch a favorite programme on a Fri night and watch it again on Tues like it was the first time! Same with books.
We now have a monthly chart on the wall where we write down important things , like games, dinners, pick up child from school!
I could cook the same dinner 3 times in a week. Just cause the first time I thought of it was a good idea. My poor family.
I also, take the milk to bed with me on a regular basis. ( I am passing the fridge on the way to bed)
Its not all the time, just when the pressure is climbing, I think.
So, join the club! of short term...umm what that?! Cath.
This is either because of IH (PTC) or the diamox.
My only proof is that this has NEVER happened to me before. And I am only 27. I have a bachelors in English, and I love words. My vocabulary seems to be dwindling these past few months though. I've always considered myself to be intelligent (not overly so), but I don't anymore. I would be terrified if I had to apply for a new job or do anything extra-professional-like.
I'm glad I don't live alone. I can only imagine the things I would forget to do.
Hope this helps and I didn't run too off topic!!!
