So, thanks to Bax....I've started a blog. I've wanted to start a diary to keep track of my daily ups and downs with this illness and give my friends and family a place to go to check in on me. That is great. I think that many times it is hard for our friends and families to know exactly how we are doing. This will make it easier for you too because they can see what kind of day you are having without having to actually talk to anyone if you don't feel like it. I think it is awesome about the fundraiser too.

LOL....Is that a good or a bad thing? Changed the picture because the other photo was from a few years ago. I wanted to put something more recent up. Although, I admit...This photo does make my forehead look rather large and the way it is sized down makes my one eye all sqishy looking. (May need a new photo eh?)

Anyhoo...It's kind of fun, because I always wanted to write editorials for a newspaper...or be a writer of some sort. This let's me feel like I am secretly living out that fantasy...except I can write about whatever I want. And it is very cathartic. You should give it a try!

On a quick side note: My doctor has decided to take me off of Topamax and try me on Diamox again because my hair is falling out. She will be starting me off on a low dose of 250 mgs. but, as you might imagine due to my prior experience with the drug...I'm a bit nervous. If this medication doesn't help, she wants to schedule me for a drain test...and then the SHUNT!!!! AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!! I don't think I'm there yet. I would rather lie about my illness, get narcotics from Canada and stay shuntless for the rest of my life...I think...maybe. I don't know. We'll have to stay tuned and see what happens.

It's all a day in the life.
