I am dizzy a lot of the time too, but when I fell I didn't feel dizzy...
As for being dizzy and running in to things i think thats par for the course for me
So, what does your blood prssure run? I actually have had problems becoming dizzy, falling, passing out etc in the shower since I was like 16. (I was healthy and thin back then.) I never could get an answer for why this happened until last week! My blood pressure runs a little low naturally and my cardiologist explained to me last week that when you are in a warm shower, your blood vessels dialate which makes your blood pressure even lower. Which can cause the dizziness and other symptoms. She told me to drink two large glasses of water before taking a shower to see if it helped and so far it has.
I don't know if you have issues with blood pressure, but it still might be worth trying before you get in the shower.
