I have been fighting a bad headache for about 14 days now. It has me feeling like I am on the verge of one of those bad "attacks" where I have to go get an LP done to relieve some of the pressure. My cheek bones hurt like they are being squeezed to death, I have the pain behind my eyes and just above my ears it feels like someone has put my head in a vice and is tightening it.
The weird part I was just at my Ophthamologist thursday and he said my eyes were perfect, in fact he said all signs of previous damage/swelling have healed. I have never had high pressure with out paps and I had the headache/eye pain at that time. I also don't have any of the wooshing noises in my ear. So I am guessing it isn't high pressure?! Nothing will touch this headache though and it is really starting to wear me down.
Sleep does help but i can't sleep 24/7. I thought maybe it was low pressure headaches but if I hold off on a dose of Diamox even by a few hours I start feeling worse.
My eyes feel really funky, it makes me feel weird to drive but like I said the doctor said I have 20/15 in both eyes and passed the visual field test better than most people with "perfect" eyes he said.
The only other thing I can think of is I have subclinical hyperthyroidism so maybe I have graves optha...whatever but I shouldn't have the symptoms of it if I am still subclinical and everything I have read it should show up as something wrong in a vision test/exam.
The pressure in my face is getting bad though. I really can't take it much longer, I don' know what it is sinuses, high pressure, or some other type of headache but man it is killing me.
Anyone have any ideas?

I'm new to all of this so I really don't have whole lot of valuble info, but I do know its the squeaky wheel that gets the grease. So call your doctor, be a pain, let them know what's going on, eventually they will pay attention to your concerns. No one knows your body like you do, remember that.
