how long does headache after lp usually last. I got it done on Monday, headache comes and goes. Ive seen up doing things I wonder if im pushing myself. Other wise I feel great!

Ii'm not sure about the headache thing. I was fortunate to not get one last time. I have an lp tomorrow morning. Did your symptoms go away afterwards?

did you try caffeine? I'm not sure if it actually helps but my dr told me to drink plenty before and after. I did that and I didn't get a hedache. Not sure if it actually had anything to do with the caffeine though. Just a suggestion :)

i will have to try the caffeine i drank just alittle so ill have to try more

If you are getting a headache after you have been up and moving around, try laying down to see if it is better. And drink a lot of fluids and caffeine. Caffeine increases cranial pressure. If you feel better laying down then you have a low pressure headache. Just take it easy a few days to make sure your puncture site heals.
