I got away with out having to for 49yrs! But my hair did turn curly and grey after the surgery. Strange!
I already knew I would nt be able to go to a hair dresser to get something done as I have given up on them , they hurt me and my shunt every time!
I now just get a dry trim from them.
But my lovely friends all suggested a organic dye, with no bleach or what ever goes in to dye. I am very sensitive to all skin products.
It was done at home and was perfect! I looked a million. I dont think it lasts as long as the more bleach type ones, but it didnt hurt at all, and lasted all of six weeks, starting to go grey at the temples again.
I now have the loveliest color red going thru my black hair! Always wanted to have this color.
Just goes to show, you are never too old to start something new.
Stick with the more natural, organic dye and you should have no problems! Cath.
Don't believe them when they said its the dye..I know a lot of ppl w/ IH who dye their hair!
Thanks for the feedback..
