Thats" AWESOME news!!
This is really turning in to a good day for a lot of people.
I am glad you have come out the other side of diomax. Yes, it can be hell for the first few weeks but then your body adapts. Most of the time. I can not go higher than 750 a day. i cant even get up and it doesnt get any better.
I wonder , sometimes about the doses, from country to country? My neuro says no one could tolerate higher than 1000.So, I think we measure differently.
Aagin, what brilliant news! It needs to be written twice! Contiuded good health to you. Cath.
I am so happy for you! Just to know that your sight is improving for your ownself is such a relief - I know if was for me after my stent surgery. I am glad for you and happy to add you the list of people who's vision was saved by one method or another without surgery. Thank God. :) As the for tinnitus - mine did not resolve until after my stent surgery and after that it was immediately gone after they cleared up my blockages/narrowing in the sinuses. I myself kind of think this is an interesting observation for the PTC community...
Best of luck to you - very happy for you! :)

I have had really bad tinnitus in my right ear for 10 yrs (not from PTC). So much so that I cannot distinguish sounds I hear out of my right ear and when I started on diamox the ringing got so loud again it drove me to distraction! Good news is there are a lot of different things you can try to help yourself ignore the noise and there are even some meds that can reduce tinnitus. So there is some hope, you just need to find yourself a good ENT to explore treatment options if you are interested.
Thanks again for telling us your great news; I am very happy for you!
I'm not sure if the ringing is from PTC or from just me abusing my ears. though i've been better with that as of late using ear plugs. though when it's bad i find putting some music on very light helps me fall asleep cus it helps me not thinkg about it.
Though i remember having the ringing in my ears since i was about 8 so i almost think it's not just abuse
