I am going back to the doctor at the end of the month and pleading to see an ENT for my massive sinus infection and the cysts in my sinuses and then maybe try to get a compassionate reassignment from where we are stationed. The biggest thing for me is the allergies and EXTREME heat.
I know heat increases CSF but my doctor says no it doesn't that "I just don't like it" Since our temps have topped +100 lately I can't breathe, I am so tired, headaches are up, spots in my eyes, heart palpitations, etc so I know my pressure is up. I am fine if I can stay inside in a cool AC but with the army being broke none of the AC's in any building are working so I spend all day working in 90+ degree buildings. Even on Diamox I am retaining so much fluid, I can't even get my rings off and I'm not even eating anything with salt in it!
Does anyone know of any good websites or articles that I can go in and show my doctor that there is proof heat/humidity increase CSF.

I did a little research on line, and there are some articles that say weather does affect PTC and others that say it has not been proven...I could not find a reliable medical website that had an answer one way or another. I find the best place to look for hard core scientific info is PubMed...I took a look under both PTC and ICH and there are tons of studies...I did not have time to search them all and see if any have to do with the affects of weather on PTC. I agree the heat is intolerable with this.
it really just comes down to the old P-chem equation:
PV=nRT
pressure and volume are proportional to the temperature.
VERY basic science that your doc should know.
