gastric bypass

anyone here with IIH have had gastric bypass? Could you tell me if your iih went away, experiences ect! thanks

hey dear,
im 5 months post-op mini gastric bypass. my ptc didnt go away. im still having spinal taps but not like before. i used to have them every 2 weeks becoz i cant take diamox becoz of my renal failure so bypass was the NS next choice. so far, i've been to the hospital 2 times in the last 5 months. so gastric bypass helps but not that much. i dont know ur case but think it through over and over before u make the choice. hugs and kisses

@ twilighta did your hair loss has stopped. I am taking diamox for the last 6-8 months and i an still having hair loss. I have told my doctor but it seems like is normal for, he doesn't believe is due to the diamox. I really don't even know what to do any more it is very stressful.

@nespino, the hair loss is not from my meds becoz im not on diamox, it's from the lack of vitamins and proteins from the gastric bypass but i do recommend that u check with ur doctor. many of our friends here had hair loss from the diamox. my hair loss didnt stop and my hair even is not growing anymore. and im sure it's from the diamox. i had hair loss from topamax and tingling feet and legs. i hope u find a solution for ur problem. kisses and hugs
