I was doing so good at the end of December, I had lost 15 lbs and my symptoms had almost completely resolved and my HYPERthyroidism had also almost corrected itself without medication. They were talking about dropping my Diamox down to 250mg/day from the 500. Felt great till the last week of January, when pollen counts got high and my allergies went nuts. At first I thought it was just allergies but now i am so confused I just don't know.
2 weeks in February were a nightmere, no headaches but horrible facial pressure and my eyes were all goofy, they weren't blurry but felt like I had been staring at a computer screen for 24 hrs without a break so kind of a tired/strained feeling and they hurt (like the feeling they are going to roll back in your head). Then it started to get better about the time we had a cold front move through and pollen counts dropped. Now it is all returning. I've tried taking all the allergy meds i'm allowed to take including allergy eye drops, nasonex, 3 different antihistamines and I still feel like crap. I upped my Diamox to 750mg/day (250mg/ 3x a day) but honestly i'm not really feeling any difference.
I just had all my levels checked in january and they were fine. I am so sick and tired of feeling like crap. I know I am lucky because I don't have headaches but the bad face pain and eye pain/funky feeling is getting to me. I'm getting more nervous about driving because my eyes feel so funny when i drive but with 3 very busy kids i have to drive!
Has anyone else every had this weird feeling with their eyes. Mine is better in the morning and worse at night and on days where it is acting up I have a horrible time with light (like while driving i'm ok if it is dark or well lit but not intermittent or when i have a long line of cars with headlights)
I don't know if it is IIH related, thyroid related or allergy related. i can't even see my neurologist till may, the wonderful sequester means our primary care and ophthmalogist doctors on base have been cut so we don't have any appts available for a long time and I don't like my thyroid doctor so I'm trying to avoid him.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...

I fear if it is weather/pollen related I am not going to see relief till late fall. Where we live the pollen is bad from Feb-Nov. Unfortunately the Army has us here until they decide to move us...already done 3.5 yrs and counting lol.
