I have to apologize to many of you. I whined awhile ago about my sinuses overflowing and was a general big baby. The supportive group you are though gave wise words and encouraged me to get in touch with the doctor and not to wait around. I'm sorry for not listening to you. I realize we all are not professionals at this and everyone must make their own decisions with their doctor about their care - but if everyone here is saying you need to go to the doctor, call the doctor!
Let me explain, a while ago I whined about my sinuses overflowing and everyone advised me to call the doctor. Well, because I'm so smart (cough cough please read sarcasm) I decided to rest at home and drink lots of fluids and take cold meds here at home. A week later, everything was changing colors, I had no voice and my neck was extremely stiff along with a nightmare head ache. I went to the urgent care clinic, got some antibiotics, barely skated by without being sent to the ER, and sent back home. The next day I woke up with my left eye bulging out of my head and being unable to see out of it. Sunday morning (the following day) ended up in the ER because the head pain has increased, the eye is bulging for longer lengths of time and I'm so dizzy I can barely change positions. They had no clue but told me to follow up with every doctor I had to find out why.
Today? My eye is still bulging. The eye dr says its not because of the eye itself. The ENT sees no sinus reason for it to be happening - but does let me know that on the ct it is bulging continuously. And I haven't heard back from the neuro yet.
I am kicking myself for not listening to you all sooner. There is wisdom when you listen to the counsel of many!

I am sorry you are so sick right now. With chronic disease, it is very easy to attribute every little thing to the illness, especially cold symptoms.
There was absolutely no way you could know that something like this would happen, and it may have happened even if you went to the Dr.
Don't be so hard on yourself, just focus on feeling better.
