I have been tested for everything possible and they haven't come up with anything close to sleep apnea causing my anxiety and depression, I am bipolar and suffer from PTSD, I'm 5'10 and I weigh 170 and to tell you the truth when I got down as far as 155 I thought I was going to die of starvation and there was little improvement to the PTC so I refuse to believe in this theory about weight being the controlling factor, I think most Drs are just using us as little lab rats and poking and proding since it doesn't hurt them any!

and in terms of diagnosis we are very behind the 8 ball. my son and I had 4 studies at 3 different sleep labs in Las Vegas and were told we did not have sleep apnea. we went to Stanford and they found it. and we are better with treatment. Stanford published a study proving that their methods are overwhelmingly better:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21700494
they found 5 times as much OSA compared to the standard criteria, and their diagnosed patients improved with treating OSA.
maybe if the sleep labs could diagnose better, the docs would be more aware of how common this is and the full range of symptoms it can cause.
I may be extremely out of line for saying this, but I do not believe an illegal online pharmacy is the best source to learn more about Diamox, or any prescription medications for that matter.
May I suggest:

All of the above are great sources if you want to learn more about Diamox.

I've never tried Lasix, but I've had wonderful luck with Diamox. I too am currently on potassium supplements. I've never taken such a large pill, it always takes me at least 3 tries to swallow it, so I know exactly what you mean. YUCK!
Good luck to you with your treatments!
