So I was on 250mg twice a day of the tablets. I went today he doubled my dosage to 500mg twice daily. The pharmacist told me the 500mg only comes in sequels, the extended release medicine. The pharmacy did not have them in stock so they sent me down the road. Well they are now telling me to just double up on the 250s. Does anyone else take 1000 a day? Do you double up on the 250s or have the 500sequels

I am on 1000 mg a day. yes I take 2x250mg twice daily. It help me to go to 1000mg hope it does you also.

I was on the 250mg tablets and my NO raised my dose 1250mgs. I was taking two 500 ER and one 250 tablet a day. Now I'm up to 2000mgs a day so I only have the 500 ER now. I don't think it makes a big difference as long as you have the correct dosage.

I think we got it figured out and going to try 250x2 twice a day. the pharmacist was freaking out at walgreens about the amount of diamox I was prescribed and that caused issues because they had to make sure it was correct. Started the double meds tonight and have a optho appointment on thursday, we will see how things are looking in there then...
