Will this be done at a hospital? You should be on your side, in a semi fetal position when the do the punture. Good luck to you. Relax, take deep breathes, and for me it helps to focus on one spot in front of your eyes, or close your eyes and breathe deeply. If done correctly it is not painful, but I know I still get a bit nervous anyway.
