More IH'ers are getting stents at certain facilities. I got one a year ago at Cleveland Clinic because I have stenosis on both sides of my head (venous sinus). He placed one stent (easy surgery!) and I was 95% normal me for about 6 weeks. My results reversed due to some heavy life stress, and I'm now back to daily issues. There is a lot of controversy about stents and the chicken and egg theory about the pressure causing the stenosis rather than the stenosis causing the pressure. All I know is that no CSF was drained from me during the surgery (all through veins / ateries) and I felt great afterwards for a time.

I'll take an aspirn daily for life and I carry paperwork with me that says that I can have an MRI with my brain stent, but besides that, it has not been a negative experience for me.
