Since I have started taking all the meds I suffer from bad cotton mouth especially when I sleep. I have also started having bleeding gums. Is anyone else have these problems? Oh forgot the bad breath.

I sounds gross but i iss really bothering me. I have been using so much mouth wash and gum. It's still there.

Cut out the mouthwash, it has alcohol and only dries your mouth more. You should make sure you're drinking a LOT. Like, at LEAST 64 ounces of water a day. Also, you can try lemonheads. They keep your mouth moist. This is a side effect of Diamox.

If u r taking pain meds as myself, the cotton mouth is a side effect. The bleeding gums and bad breath r probly not related to that. I would see your denist for that. Hope this helps!!!!

I would add, see a dr for a blood work up. You could be deficient in some Vits and have possible anaemia.
Some of this medication really messes up your body including your mouth! You have to be very vigilant as regards mouth care.
I have tried just about everything to combat the dry mouth and keep coming back to ...water. You have to drink a lot of it anyway, if you are on Diomax, and it really is the only thing that works, with out any sidfe effects.

I would like to say it gets easier but it doesnt. You get better at dealing with it tho. Cath.
