I could be wrong but usually things like penicillian and amoxacillian are fine to take and are prescribed for bronchitis, provided you aren't allergic to them(my problem). I have also been told the Z-pack (zythromax) and clindamycin are safe to take. I have taken clindamycin since diagnosis and have had no problems with it!

I find it interesting that sulfa drugs on listed on here yet Diamox contains some component of it because they were worried about me taking it since I am allergic to Sulfa drugs (I did fine on it but it was concern)

My doctor knows very well that I have IIH.

She diagnosed it as an upper-respiratory infection (and yes, my ears are full of fluid which is why they are bugging me so bad!) and prescribed me Amoxocillin as my antibiotic. Also, she has prescribed me Baclofen because I am caughing so much and so hard that I am pulling muscles like crazy...I doubled over in pain in the middle of Walmart a little while ago! Also, from coughing so much, I vomited...which did not help the muscle pain.

I am also going to get the flu shot next week.

Wait till you are over this virus before getting flu shot. It can send you body into immune overdrive, no kidding.

Oh, I am not even going near getting it until I am clear of this for a few days. Trust me!!
