Hi, just had my shunt tested, it seems like there is a leak or a disconnection of the tubing from my shunt valve, so that is why, even though my NS just tied of my shunt, I'm still having low pressure headaches/nausea/vomiting.
Am scheduled next week for a new shunt revision (don't know the exact date yet). I really like my NS, he is very honest, open to suggestions, and a great NS...but saying all that I still had to suggest this test be done, which he gave me all the credit for (ha).
So another surgery, I am so hoping this will do the trick and I can get back to at least getting out of bed longer than an hour a day before throwing up!
Everyone here has helped me so much, when I'm at the hospital or having a procedure I think of everyone and it gives me strength!

Deb, we are shunt sisters, ha. I pray that your revision goes well. I know how hard it is to have to have surgery so soon after you just had one. I pray that you heal quickly and that this will be your last shunt revision. Mine is being done tomorrow (tues). Hope you are feeling better!
