I think all of us struggle with the balance between not awakening or aggravating our IH and leading as normal a life as we can. Your symptoms so clearly appeared after the ride I have to believe the ride caused them.
There are a couple of choices:
1) Do nothing, be very careful of yourself for a few weeks and see what happens.
2) Go into the doctor and get back on the meds ASAP to see if you can nip it in the bud.
Which choice sounds like the best choice for you?
I don't have a shunt. I'm on Diamox - 2500mg/day. Hopefully I'll just feel woozy for a little while and then it'll work itself out. Ugh. I'll give it a few days and then call my neuro if it hasn't gone away.
This disease is so stupid. Just one more thing I have to cross off my list from here on out - no rides I guess. It's not that I care so much about riding them, but it takes away one more fun and special thing that I can do with my kids. Waahh!
