Fatigue ?

Hello Everyone.
Is fatigue a true sysmptom of IH or is just something that happens from dealing with the meds, headaches and doctors ?

Are you taking diamox or Lasix?
If so, Diamox or Lasix cause fatigue; its one of the symptoms..

I have found it is both . Fatigue is definitely a sign of IIH . I could sleep for 18 hours a day and got tired so fast whenever I went somewhere for a good 6 months before i was diagnosed . But , Diamox , for me , caused a whole "nother" type of fatigue - Pure exhaustion for the first 7 weeks or so . So I say it is both .

faith , this is a very complex problem, fatigue, with people with IIh.
First, I believe it does cause fatigue, then add in the exhaustion from the meds, plus being weary to the bone from pain.

I have been off Diomax since March and , altho I am not anywhere as tired or confused as I am when taking diamox, I as still on borrowed time always for the fatigue.

I have learned, that if I do too much on a Mon, I will pay the price Tues. Its all a question of balance.
You have to weigh up each day and see how much you are going to need. If its a busy day and you need a lot of energy just be prepared to pay it back!

I believe that it does cause fatigue. My opinion and my experience.

I think everyone is correct. Right now I am not on any meds and the fatigue is still super bad.

No meds.. I thought I would try and google it and only had a chance to ready one thing and it said " Fatigue is not a symptom of IH"..Then darn..I must be a big "hypochondriac"! which I do get that feeling that some family memebers think I am..
