Update on Endo visit

I am now more confused than ever after my visit. I heard everything from no medicine to medicine, to surgery but then no surgery, visual field tests, blindness, possibile wrong diagnosis ( not prolactinoma ) functional and non functional tumor. If I have a non funtional tumor there is nothing to do.

sorry to hear about your confusion....if I was you I would phone the hospital / doctors and ask them to explain everything to you in clear words, and it might be an idea to have someone else with you, so that they can clarify it for you.

I am thinking about getting a second opinion most definitely because I do not like the fact that he told me that there is nothing I can do for my tumor because it might be unresponsive so I just have to let it wait and i might be blind by the time it is the right size for them to take it out. I am telling you it was not a good visit at all.

I would most definately get a second opinion as there is always something that they can do. I must admitt that I have been very lucky with my doctors...... just wondering do you live the UK or are you abroad??? If you are in the UK then I would speak to PALS at the local hospital if it was a hospital doctor that you saw. It absolutely amazes me that some people can have all of the brains to become doctors but they don't seem to have the heart.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
