I THINK I AM GOING CRAZY

I honestly at this point only have you guys. I am going through so much right now. i have this Chiari, I have a pituitary tumor, Anxiety, and Panic disorder. I am so tired of everything. Lately, I have been noticing a rather big problem with my memory. i forget everything. I repeat things to people and i am messing up at work. My Neurologist won't get me an MRi and I think I need that since it has been a while since I have checked my Chiari and Tumor. He wants blood work done that I actually got done two months ago again, so does my endocrinologist. I don't know if it is the meds for my Anxiety causing the memory loss, but i don't want to change meds unless I am for sure it is not the chiari or tumor. My speech is slurred from time to time and my husband makes up the excuse that it could be due to the fact that I am bilingual and I have to speak to languages at work. I have become super paranoid and the therapist says that I can not call my husband and tell him about everything that is going wrong at work because that is adding too much pressure on him too. So then who do I talk to? I am not going to sit with a co worker and say " HEY I AM GOING BONKERS" . So tired. SO confused, I feel So ALONE.

I definitely feel for you. I was also suffering from anxiety and memory loss but I thought it was probably because of my tumor. I heard that it plays a role. I definitely believe it now. I had my surgery almost 2 weeks ago to have it removed, my headaches are getting better... my memory is pretty good and I feel a lot less anxious and paranoid. I've also gained massive energy and lost like 6 lbs :) which was amazing because before it was suuuper hard to lose the little weight that I couldn't get off. With the tumor... I think that it makes your hormones all out of whack and causes so many problems including making you crazy, lol. Even when you are taking medications- they don't always work the way they should be (in my opinion) I hope that everything goes well for you and you find the problem.

i was diagnosed witha small pituitary tumour in june this year and you will see a huge range in opinions and experiences from many people.

i had put weight on with the bromocritptine, memory like a sieve, tired, irritable etc. also affected by high prolactin- that hormone goes up when women are breastfeeding or pregnant to take them out of the action loop and just focus on being a mummy, in one way- talking evolutionary aspects here of course.

as soon as my endo changed me to cabergoline, i felt a zillion times better, no more ehadaches and feeling as though i have had a general anaesthetic every night! and...have started losing weight too.

having said that, you may have seen some of the posts on the site saying that they didnt like the caberg and changed and felt better with bromo- would it be worthwhile having a chat to your endo on that one ?

I had someone on DS send me an easy guide to writng..I was upset and locked up all my journals and then didnt want to go into discussions..I knew there was something wrong before they sent me this and it hits hard..I was in a job and we had to do something simple person who I was working alongside me bless him ..he showed me and laughed a kid could do this..but my heart sank Ive got myself into some muddles and have felt so stupid..Ive even been bashed in a group someone put up the didnt understand the f what I was on about..so again more tears..this conditon is so cruel ..but ok Ive lost something but have gained something else..kindness of some people who have come to my rescue..I wanted to give up yes conditon youve stripped everything but Im not going to give up..Ive had some knights in shinning armour point the arrow forwards to fight..

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
