Hi, I'm off cab but when I was on it I always felt sick the days I took it. I took it mondays and fridays so I feelt most sick those days but it has a half life of 4-7 days, but for me the sickness and effects were most intense the day I took it so I always took it with dinner and it started to effect 30 min to an hour after taking the pill. Ironically, antidepressants also have the side effect of anxiety, look for change in diet instead. Try eating sweets, sugar releases endorfines which might settle anxiaty temperorarly at least, so try with youghurt, great against sickness, with fruit or berries.

I take my cab at bedtime, with a cracker or two and I find that I sleep through most of the nausea. You might give that a try.

I take Wellbutrin for depression, but I've found that I absolutely must exercise in addition to the meds.

Some days it's almost impossible to drag myself to the pool, but I always feel better afterwards. And if I miss a few days, that's when the depression really begins to hit.

I am going to start taken cab at night. I called my endo today and he say that 99% of his patients have no side effects and this is the mildest medicine to go . I hopine the paxil helps. I do exercise three times a week but I might have to increase. Just want to feel better. Bad hot and cold flashes all day and foggy head. Very hard to work.. I pray for all of u's. I pray for anyone with an illness .

I tak cab - one time a week and only half a pill. My endo says this was the lowest dose possible. I have had very few side effects from the meds. I do battle the motivation issue - but usually some sort of exercise will help me out to get started during the day.

I take cab also for about two months and my prolactin levels are normal,the endo told me there was lil side effects and it might cause depression,at that time I was on cymbalta but i stopped it,cause i was gainning weight,so its been a month an a half w/o anti depressants and I feel very depressed,headaches,nauseas,hot flashes. why the doctors always saying that cab has lil side effects??

I am going to show my endo this web site letters. I have been off can now for week . No hot flashes, no foggy head. Depression instill have because the nightmares of this medicine did damage to me. I see my therapist tomorrow. I will have to go on something because I just can't get out of this funk. I still take a half a pill a day of xanax for anxiety. That now I an afraid to be myself coming to my house that I love and love my quiet time is a no no. I get the worse anxiety going into my own house. I feel closed in and get panic attackers.
I was just talking to my husband. That I didn't ever know anyone having things and for depression . I only hung out with happy people. Well now I am on list of depress people. My phone has not been ringing .
Last nite I went to the er for bad stomach pain.. They did nothing. They think it in my head including the man I marry for sickness and health...I remind he daily.
I do fill the best in months since i stopped cab last week.. Inam going to a new endo but until than I am going to try and enjoy the next month...

Its not just hard for us,but for people who are around us,all I hear from my husbands mouth is how moody I am,he seems not to understand and even care for what I have,im sure if i ask him what is called who wouldnt even know that,its very frustrating,its also hurtful,maske me wonder if I should put anybody throught this,if its hard for me im sure its for anybody who has to deal w my ups and downs.

So I meet somebody who also has a prolactinoma and aldo hypothyroidism,he recommended to get a second opinion because he was on cab and still had headaches,nauseas,and he found another endo and told him that eventhough his thyroid levels were within normal levels he was boderline and prescribed him meds for hypothyroidism and since then he's been feeling better and he told me to drink a lot of drinks with electrolites and im so much better and also taking the cab at night time,for some reason he says cab dehidrates u,so I hope this helps u guys

Im currently off my cab since I had a miscarriage last december, but Im going to have to go back on it because I'm not getting pregnant again and I just got my levels back and they are very high. I'm really not looking forward to taking it again, even though I havent been feel good, because when I do take it, the side effects for me are terrible. My endo had me on a 1/2 pill every 9 days. When I'm on it my headaches are terrible, I can't ever sleep at night, and I always feel dizzy. I dont know what else to do as I am not feeling good now because my levels are so high and I want to get pregnant and cant because of it. I have no other choice but to go back on the medicine, but def not looking forward to the sleepless nights and headaches every other day again. I tried bromo in the beginning and it was even worse! I was falling all the time because I had no balance because it made me so dizzy. Does anyone else have trouble sleeping when on the cab or problems with headaches?

Hi, I've been off the cabergoline for the last 3 weeks and it's only with hindsight that I realise I was a bit of a mess on the cabergoline. It made me depressed, foggy and overwhelmed and after 5 years didn't even make an impact on lowering my levels. Now on Norprolac, my emotions seem much better and less foggy but as far as having a positive effect on my levels only time will tell, due another blood test in September.
