I am new to the Prolactinoma Support Group. So here is a little bit about my journey, I was diagnosed with a 8mm prolactinoma approximately 3 months ago, after having the symptoms for over a year. After being diagnosed I started taking Cabergoline, 0.5mg twice a week, and was told to have regular blood tests so they could monitor my prolactin levels. This has been done but have not had any results, so I dont know whether its working at this stage.
Anyway that was a brief intro, my main reason for writing today is because I find that on the nights I take my dose of Cabergoline, it causes such a restless and disturbed nights sleep. Has anyone else experienced this? I have tried taking it and different times in the evening, but it still seems to happen. I find myself very restless when trying to sleep and then once I get to sleep, I wake up on numerous occasions throughout the night. My sleep on nights without the drug are uninterrupted and I sleep very well.
I would love to hear if anyone has experienced this, and any suggestions on how to improve it.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
About twice a week, I wake up with a perfectly clear and sharp mind...for two to three hours...then usually fight sleep the rest of the day.
Do you mind me asking what other side effects you experience? :-)
Just to let you know that I've been cutting my pills in half for 10 years under ENDO supervision.
Jean is quite right to be cautious and double check with your own doctor but I really don't think its a big ordeal to break them in two pieces. There is a little ridge on the tablets which as far as I know is to actually allow you break it.
