4th WK wrap up on Cabergoline

What's up fam. Well it's my 4th wk on the cabby-cabs and I guess I'm feeling better or just adapting like in the past. One thing I can say for sure that my romantic appetite has increase like a mutha, just hope that's not the only thing it's fixing. So far no noticeable side effects, but I was feeling pretty whack before the meds. The pressure in my head seemed to eased up quit a bit, but still having ringing in my ears. Pretty much just trying to keep a positive attitude and pushing forward is all I can do at this point. Hope everybody else is seeing some progress; more good than bad of course. Shoot me a msg if ya just need a shoulder to lean on.

Good to hear that you are feeling better and taking to the medication well. A positive attitude is where to be. The romantic appetite is one of those positive benefits from the treatment ---. The ringing in the ears could be an associated endolymphatic hydrops (vestibular disorder) of sorts. Try to note when it comes on if there are any other things that you feel (dizziness, spinning, ) also what you may have eaten up to 12 hours prior (mainly looking for salty foods). These types of things will be good to have notes on to take to your next visit.

Hang in there my friend. I've been on the "cabby-cabs" for the same duration.

Did you get dizzy at night when first taking the stuff? I've also got the ringing in the ears, its subtle but present.

I didn't get dizzy, just anxious from taking something I've never taken before, and of course reading all the good and the bad had me wondering the first night. Man I said fk-it, whatever happens...happens.

Dude, I hear ya. Its times like these it seems anything is better than some darn tumor messing up your day anymore.

I have to admit to being anxious as well, a part of me wants to see the results and understand the process of treating the condition. However, the other part just wants this to me over and to have my life back to what I remember as "normal".

The 'romantic' side effect doesnt go away. I have been on Cab for 14 months and it's a strong feature. Also, I can workout at the gym like an athlete, dont need to eat much and sleep is optional..
