How long after starting Cabergoline does it take for your period to get back on track?

Hi,

I think I got my first period about 4-5 weeks after starting cabergoline. Before starting cabergoline I had not had a period for about 8 months following coming off the pill.

My cycles are now fairly regular and about 28-35 days in length.

after having had none for 3 months, mine were back at four weeks and have been every 25 days like clockwork since. this was on a very low initial dose of cabergoline (0.25mg once /week) before it was increased. my periods came back but my prolactin levels actually took a few months to start coming down.
