relapsed... while in drug court.
zilwan
Sad but true... 8 months in... about to finish my program and be free from outpatient and drug court I f it all up.
I relapsed monday (yesterday) and I have a drug test thursday. Im pretty sure coke takes 3-5 days... and Im thinking of blowing of my 1 on 1.... which Im pretty sure could get me in a lot of trouble.
But I guess anything is better than going in and peeing dirty... that equals 8 months down the drain, start all over... 4 meetings a week + a year or drug court again. and 1 week of jail..
I just can't man up.... Im freaking out, and am thinking of crazy ideas to blow off this 1 on 1.
To be honest my meeting was today (tuesday) but I called yesterday to reschedule for thurs for work... which I am at work now. but... its still not enough time -_-

So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

Did you decide to do all the treatment programs, meetings and outpatient, or did someone else decide that for you? Do YOU want to get and stay clean or is someone demanding that you get clean? Just wondering, because I didn't get clean and sober until I was good and ready and WANTED it. It takes willingness and I just wasn't willing until I was good and ready.
Practicing addiction was like a ride on a dump truck for me. I was on the truck with the option of getting off any time I wanted to, but I toured the entire dump first. Went all the way. I didn't want to quit until I reached my "real" bottom. There's fake bottoms, bottoms with all kinds of trap doors, and real bottoms. You'll know when you get to your real bottom. And only you will know. I knew!
Treatment will get us clean, aftercare like NA will keep us clean. Going to a group like NA, listening and sharing, working the steps to get to a point where you never need to use again because deep in your soul you no longer WANT to use takes the utmost in humility, completely putting all pride aside. All it takes is a little willingness in the beginning to get to that point. I got willing. I needed some hope. Hope is what you have left when reality tells you there's nothing else left.
Remember this my friend, In the end, everything will be all right.
If everything isn't all right, it isn't the end yet.
You need the 12 steps Bro! They saved my life!
