Looking for a detox program. Have medicade/univera

I live in buffalo NY. and I am looking for a detox program to get clean once and for all. If anyone wants to help me look I'd really appreciate it. any easy sites or numbers. Ugh.. i can't seem to find one that will take me asap. I don't even mind if it cost some cash, or is in a different state. (prefer not)

There is Place A, that accepted me. I went there for 1 week. was suppose to me 4-7 days until I go "upstairs" to a 28 day program. I made the stupid mistake of leaving. During the 8 days I was there 3 people left or got kicked out and came back. I guess the place got pissed at this because they didn't let me back.

I tried place
B and C before and all they do is keep you for 1 day and send you home with a small script of suboxune. Which isn't what I want. I don't want suboxune. I want a 28+ day program so not worry. To not recover and get through this heavy usage.

Place B and C are actual hospitals near me, and im not sure if its truly because they changed policies. As in opiates don't kill ya from withdrawal, so you don't need a bed. I guess it's for alcohol and benzos, ( Any idea if when they urine tox you it shows for alcohol? Im starting to wonder if I could just say it's alcohol."

I want to get back to place A so badly.

How about an AA or NA meeting? I think the support will help you. better then rehab. All rehab will do is teach you alot about addiction and help you deal with issues that trigger you to use. I think you already know alot about your addiction and a 12 step program can help you deal with your issues.

I get this feeling that you believe a 28 day program will somehow stop you from using and it makes me think of something my counselor told me. she said, "We can throw everything at them but the kitchen sink but the rest is up to them!"

If you went to as many meetings as you could, got a sponser and did the steps, you will be amazed at how good an addiction free life can be!

That's my heart speaking to you, outside of that, I don't know what else to tell you.

hello zilwan, i live in england so its different over here, but i saw my doctor because i was using a months prescription in a week. she changed the tablet to a long relese tablet from a short relese but dropped the dose, and every few weeks she drops the dose, iv not had any over meds or rehab, its not nice but im ok. you can get threw this friend, you have the right mind set, now go for it!!!!!! YOU CAN DO IT! :)))))

Hi Lindsey, yes the trick in weaning is to do it as slow and as gradual as possible.

    So mad at Xfinity!  They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today!  Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
