I am really scared. I am suppose to start suboxone wednesday. I am told to not take anything tuesday untill I get to my appointment on wednesday so I will be in withdraw. does this include xanax that I am prescribed? I am scared of starting a new med, I have heard its addictive so I dont plan on being on it long, but I am scarder NOT to try the subs because my addiction got out of conrol. I hope this will help someone when I tell you I have tried stopping on my own many times, I tried cold turkey, I tried weaning down, nothing worked, by the third day of w/d, I always caved in.
The w/d was just awful. I also have an axiety panic disorder so now I am really panicing the closer I get to this date of starting the subs. I have been reading a lot of stuff in many forumes and have heard some great things about the subox, but I am still scared, I am scared of everything changing, will I be able to do it because this feels like my last chance, my very last chance. My whole addiction started at age 42 people, I never was a drug user before then, if this can happen to me it can happen to anyone, I was very AnTI drug person. I watched my sister go through hell for many years with addiction and I still cannot believe this happened to me, It started with having to take percocet for my teeth, and then my spouse left me, I had morgaged my house for my spouse to pay off school loans and when she left I knew I lost everything, my relationship and my home. I noticed the perks made me not cry so much, they helped me not panic. This is how this EVIL medicin SUCKS you in and FOOLS you, What starts out as seeming to help ends up a bigger problem then you started with. If anyone is reading this and feel you could never get addicted or you are questioning if your headed that way, PLEASE bnelieve me when I tell you, it can happen at any age to anyone, even if you do NOT have a drug using back ground. PLEASE anyone with personal experince with suboxone or going through what i am PLEASE ffer me some help, some advice some encouragoment if you can. I have a habit of about 60-100 mg a day of percocet/oxycodone. and I have had this habit for over a year, almost two years. PLEASE reach out a hand, I feel I am barely hanging on. thank you so much. So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

One thing that the counselors told me which I never forgot was that, I have no control over what other people do. I made mistakes and I apologized for them but that's all I could do. No sense punishing myself for making mistakes. People are human and everyone makes mistakes!
I had to refocus all my energies on getting better, on doing everything my addiction counselors told me to do and on going to 12 step meetings which were always required and for a good reason. I got lots of support there and Good things seemed to happen to me when I went. It seemed like coincidences but I don't believe in coincidences anymore but I do believe in a Higher Power.
I discovered that lying and guilt and shame are all things that block the communication link I have with my Higher Power. Once I let those go through prayer and meditation, things began to go in my favor. I started getting things I needed. I have never gone hungry, I have never gone with bills unpaid but yet I haven't worked at a regular job in over 3 years!
This could be you but it takes working the steps with a sponser (face to face) to help get you on the way to a better life.
God Bless and TC!
