Is it just me or is it that the longer we go without drugs and being clean the worst we get? I've been clean for 50 days now, and I just keep getting worse, I'm still am trying to block out my emotions, everything seems harder, just the daily stuff I have to do is like a days worth of work, everythings doesn't get done, I have no motivation, and I've been really depressed and cut myself off from everyone, and I don't talk to anyone really, specially not about what I really am thinking. This seems so impossible, and I feel so alone...

So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

You are still at the early stages of sobriety. It takes time for your brain to adjust. You need alot of support especially from people who have been in your shoes.
Reading your profile, I see you have some issues which cause you excruciating emotional pain which you have yet to deal with. You need to let that stuff out because it will show it's ugly face in other ways such as the addiction and the other things that distract and numb the hurt.
Addiction is just a symptom of a deeper emotional issue and your fatigue, lack of motivation, depression, the feelings of loss and isolation, are all connected.
In rehab, you will be in the company of others who have had similar problems, and survived and are very happy today. Every counselor I have know was once an addict themselves and all of them had emotional issues like you, which made them want to self medicate with prescription drugs or alcohol. You will be able to identify with others who have similar problems.
I remember I was scared to death when I started my outpatient treatment but that was simply a fear of the unknown. I felt uncomfortable having to tell my problems to others but in the end, I was glad I did. It was like getting a huge weight off my back and I became a better person, and a happier person as a result.
I just went with an open mind. Many of the friends I made while there, I still keep in touch with today. We seem to form a kind of bond with those who know our innermost thoughts.
I am sorry for some horrible things that have happened to you but you can heal and you can be happy. Others have. It's not easy, I'm sure but it is possible and it takes time and lots of support!
God Bless and tc!
