A few days ago I found myself in a situation. I was at a friends. whom I know is an user. I found a pill and was going to take it and save it for a more private time. However the only thing that kept me from pocketing it til a later use was that I didn't want to end up back in the hospital, the wrath of my husband, and screwing up my sobriety date. I have a year and 2 1/2 months.
All I can think about is that moment. Its driving me nuts. I just try to think of other things and be more positive and think about how bad it used to be and I don't want to go back there.

So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

You did the right thing, congratulations on a year and more. You don't say if you go to NA meetings or not but if you get further into the steps, you will no longer have those kinds of triggers. It all has to do with allowing your Higher Power to control your life which is difficult to do and takes practice.
But you came this far regardless and you deserve alot of credit. Continued good luck in your recovery and I hope you continue to post about it. The path you take on that road to recovery, may help someone else! Ya never know!
God Bless!
