Long story short, or i can try. I have been married for over 2 years. My husband has been on and off pills that a doctor gave him for siatic nerve and he became addicted to oxy, zanex, morphine, kolonopin, and a few others that a doctor prescribed. After months of in and out of hospitals, detoxing and finally getting off before Christmas after having him committed to try and get him help, go a few months later. I am 10 weeks pregnant and yesterday we were walking back from the park and he had a seizure. The ambulance took him and I had his mom go with me to the hospital and my mom watched our two kids we have. On the way she told me she has been giving him oxy and zanex the past few weeks. Now his mom vowed before because she was the one giving him 30 pills in a 3 day period. The doctor told me yesterday that his drug test was not available because he didn't want me to know. For the past few months I have been lied to and deceived and scared because I am pregnant. I made him move out and wont speak to him unless he goes to rehab. His mother continues to call me crying and trying to apologize but she is part of the problem not the solution. Let me add my husband will not even attempt to call me. I am at a loss for words and considering not keeping the baby.

So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I have an idea what you're going through. For the past 7 years + my wife has been having issues she thinks is medical and has been through multiple surgeries etc... with no affect. During this time she's had a pain mgmt dr who's had her on Percocet, Oxycontin and valium and I believe she's addicted. I can't seem to find anyone in my personal life I can relate but found this site last night. Last year she took a mouth full of oxy and I got her to spit it out. I called 911 and had her in the ER. I even lied to the dr' s because I couldn't see her in an institution. At least you had the strength to kick out your husband. These pills have completely changed my wife's personality to someone I don't even know anymore, and I've know her for 22 years since I was a 17 year old kid. She barely leaves the house or even showers. I'm just a caregiver. This evil pills make her hate everyone and everything, even her family doesn't talk to her anymore so I'm all she has and the only there there for her even though she hates me and only talks to me to tell me she wants a divorce. But I know all the horrible things she says to me is just the pills talking. I just saying this because maybe your husband has the same pattern so you know that you're not alone.
Hopefully kicking out your husband will knock some sense into him, if not for you but for his kids esp since you have 1 on the way. His mother needs to step back and maybe if she cuts him off too he'll clean himself up. She's enabling him, I know I'm not one to talk because I enable my wife by getting her prescription refills for her but I don't want to see her go through withdrawal and detox if I don't. Having to see your husband have a seizure in front of you must have been horrible. I can't explain how it felt to see my wife take a handful of Oxy and have to beg her to spit them out and then have to see her fight, punch, kick and bite police officers, then see her put in the psych ward of a hospital for evaluation. So I feel your pain with having to see something that horrible, hopefully your kids didn't see it or are too young to really know what was happening. All I can say is to hang in there, you're not alone. Hopefully kicking him out would be a wake up call if not for you but for his kids
You did the right thing thing to make him move out. That was the ONLY thing you could do.
Addiction has been called a family disease so it doesn't surprise me that the mother was supplying him and certainly if he had a seizure and I was told who gave him the meds that caused it, I would have been LIVID! His mom most definitely IS part of the problem by enabling him! Lying is just not exceptable, even if you are pregnant. You have a right to know your husbands drug tests. You are his wife!
If you want to give up the baby, that is your decision but please get some counseling first. I would hate to see you make a decision you may late regret. I can understand you not wanting to raise a child to a severely addicted father. It does not work and the child could be neglected by the dad and have a troubled life as a result.
You have alot on your plate right now and you need alot of support.
Please consider alanon where you will meet others who live with an addicted spouse and see how they dealt with it.
Please also bring your doctor into the loop as she/he can be the first to give you advice and suggestions on how to proceed from here.
We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.
God Bless!
