Pregnancy Support Group
Welcome to the waiting room for anticipating moms and dads. Whether you're expecting your first or a new little brother or sister, meet other parents in this community who are also looking forward to a new addition to the family.
Anyway, I hope you can get some more helpful answers than mine, lol.

Allison is right, though. The number of pounds really isn't that important unless you're gaining too much. It's really just important that you eat healthy. Remember, too, that your weight gain will be made up of placenta, extra blood, baby, larger breasts (in some instances), and even water retention later on so even if you seem to be a lot heavier than you would like it doesn't necessarily mean that you are gaining fat.
Now mind u I am overweight anyways and high risk so id think wed want to keep my weight gain low but WIC is more worried then my doc.
