Hello ladies!
This morning at around 10am i had a membrane sweep, (currently 2 days overdue) tonight at around 7:30pm i had a bloody show
curious as my midwife told me having the sweep isn't guaranteed to work,
was just wondering if any of you have been through this, and if the bloody show is a good sign that things will probably get started soon?
or does it mean i have a while yet to wait?

I had my membranes swept for my girls and it didnt do anything. I never had a bloody show.. My friend just had a baby a week ago, had hers swept and had the bloody show. When she told me about it, I had no clue what she was talking about. After her "show" she went into labour over a week later.. Good luck!

I had my membranes swept and had my son the next day, so it worked for me! However, my midwife did tell me that my bag of waters was bulging on the left side and my water broke while I was turning over in bed the next morning. But I did experience cramping afterwards and it progressed into contractions at around 6 the next morning.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
