i woke up with some bright red bleeding with tiny clots this morning.
i called the dr and talked to a nurse and she said to elevate my legs, rest, and drink fluids. I have been doing that and it has not stopped. It's not heavy, but it's a constant light bleeding with mild cramping.
She said she would call back if the on-call doctor says anything different but she hasn't called back. She also told me that's all they could do for me.
It's not good enough.
I'm not sure what I should do.

I sorry you have to go thought all that. I know it's hard, but there are many women that spot or bleed during pregnancy and stay pregnant.
Be strong.
What to expect when your expecting is a great reference book for pregnancy, it answered alot of my questions last time. The book has been updated since i purchased my copy, but I looked it up for you anyway.
It said to go to the ER if you are passing clots or grayish or pink material. If you soak several pads in an hour, or when pain is so severe you can't take it.
It also said spotting around the time you would have expected your period is normal.
