Has anyone experienced spotting in the first trimester and still had a healthy pregnancy? I am worried since I started spotting oon saturday and it still happening today. It is nothing like a periode. I got my periode 5 days late in march on the 29th and No periode in april, now in may I started spotting. My blood test results for pregnancy test isnt gonna be back unitl st least a week. I am worrying :( Any one else experienced this?

hey. I am in my first trimester as well. I have spotted a few times. my mom told me it's normal to spot here and there but if it gets really bad then to get it checked out. this is my first pregnancy too

Any spotting should be reported to your doctor. I had spotting with my first pregnancy for about a week and half and miscarried at 11 weeks. I never thought anything of the spotting until I had really bad cramping but it was already too late. I learned my lesson. I would strongly suggest talking to your doctor. Hope everything is well.

Ive been spotting for about 2 days now. My doctor doesnt even know if I am pregnant for sure yet cuz my test results havent come back yet. So I should go to the doctor and tell him that I am spotting and am worried? or wait until the results get back and hope everything is ok?

I believe you have to BE pregnant to be in the first trimester.

So that would mean that you think that I should just wait it out, hope that the spotting stops and nothting bad happens & when I get my results back tell the doctor about my spotting.

I'd call the doctor and just advise him that your spotting...I'm told any spotting or bad cramping needs to be reported to them.

Also, did you take a home pregnancy test??? If so what did it say?
