Anyone getting spotting after a pap smear? I've had light to heavy spotting for 2 days now...I'm 11 weeks.

Love to hear your experience and how long the spotting lasted?

I always spot after a pap usually just for a day with light spotting. I spotted around 11 weeks and that is when they found out that I had low lying placenta. Gook luck, and you are in my thoughts and prayers!!

Spotting afterwards is very normal. If you see bright red blood or a lot of it, then you should worry but it should go away in 3 to 4 days. Mine lasted 3 days and was just brownish in color. Good luck!! I hope it's nothing serious. ((((hugs))))

bsically the way i see it is ANYTIME ANYONE or ANTHING goes "up there" you can have spotting..as long as its not bright red and ALOT of it..things shuld level off and be fine!! Best of luck and congrats!!

My dr said after mine I would spot. I didn't, but she said it is common.
If it is heavy though, see the dr asap. If it stops, you are probably fine.
