ahh! i felt so bad i went on a shopping binge all on stuff for me! first got ridiculously expensive make up for myself then went to bath n body works to spend too much there. After all that i got home to realize i wasted all this money on me, sure the make up looks awesome and i do love that scent from bath and body works, I just wish i knew the gender of my baby so i can really really shop for my child soon. This is my first shopping binge since i got pregnant :-) feel good that this will be the last time i buy nice make up till the baby arrives,

I went shopping for myself last week. Granted, I bought clothes because the ones I have are getting a bit snug in the belly, but it was the first shopping trip I did for me! I haven't gone on one for the babies yet because everyone keeps telling me to wait until after the shower and my SIL keeps giving us boxes of clothes her son has outgrown! But, my advice if you want to go shopping for your baby now, buy neutral items. You know you will need lots of onesies, sleepers, blankets, etc. so buy those things in colours that work well for either gender.

I couldn't help but buy lots of baby stuff before I knew the sex and before my shower xD. I didn't actually shop for myself till I bought some maternity clothes lol. Then a week ago I got my nails done and got some earrings. I'm 40w5d.

You can always buy neutral stuff, blankets and towels, bath things, all that you can get in virtually any color and it'll be okay. Otherwise clothes in yellow and green. You can buy toys too, like rattles and teething rings, stuff that you'll need for either gender! I shopped for the baby like crazy before my shower, and kind of regretted it. I got sooo much from the shower. I know now that I should have bought some bigger size diapers and stuff like that. You will get lots of newborn and size one stuff so try to get the size 2 or 3 diapers and bigger clothes because it'll save you money later when money gets tight!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
